MOSCATO D’ASTI
docg

Winemaking
The Moscato grapes are hand picked very carefully and carried to the cellar in small baskets to be pressed within few hours from the harvest. After being pressed, the must undergoes the natural process of cold clarification and then is sent to the cold tank, where it is kept at a low temperature. After a period of storage, a slow fermentation at low temperature is started, until a 5% alcohol content is reached, then it is stopped by further cooling and sterile filtration.
Tasting notes
It is a Moscato d’Asti DOCG that comes from a careful selection of grapes of old vines planted in particularly suitable positions. The result is a product of a very high aromatic level that is not only pleasant in youth but can reach a captivating complexity over the years. The taste is soft and delicate, perfect as an aperitif, as a dessert, for afternoon breaks and for parties. It can be easily enjoyed alone, but it also goes perfectly with fresh fruit and desserts.
